My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Minnie’s papered name is KC’s Minnie. She is a very sweet dog but hasn’t been exposed to young children or other animals.  Based on her personality she would likely do fine with older children though. Minnie gets along very well with teenagers. She’ll bark at them when they first arrive but later adjusts.  She likes to play with the other dogs, and explore her fenced yard and watch for squirrel or rabbit intruders.

She loves to snuggle and will migrate to be a one person’s dog which I believe is an IG trait. She sleeps in bed with us and does not get up at all during the middle of the night. There’s just something about shoes she loves. Otherwise, she stays out of things.

Minnie is potty trained but at times you have to remind her to go outside. She will ask to go out frequently but you have to hear her at the back door. She doesn’t bark to go outside. You just have to hear her by the door or listen for her to scratch on it.

Minnie is a very sweet gentle girl, she is very quiet, doesn't bark and is very light footed. She has walked in the room before without me even noticing. She likes to lay around, and is not used to the other dogs yet. She likes the company of people a lot. Minnie has a very soft nice coat on her as she has been fed a good food to keep it healthy. She does need to lose a little of her pudge, but that should only take a few weeks eating on a schedule.

Minnie is located in Sioux City, IA. She will be adopted as any other dog in our program, and updated on shots if needed before she finds her new home. If you want to learn more about Minnie, please let us know you would like an adoption application.April 19, 2024, 12:17 am
