Bombay (Bay Bay)'s Story...
Bombay, formerly BayBay, is absolutely the sweetest little girl.  She was given up becuase a pack of 2 chihuahuas was picking on her at her former home and she came in with small cuts from them on her legs and head.  She loves other dogs, doesn't mind cats, and has been around livestock according to her former home.  She also does well with children.  She is very mild mannered and not at all dominant.  She loves to lay around, but gets in spurts of playtime.  She would do find at pretty much any home, but does need a fence.  Bombay is about 3 years old only.  She had a dental  and shots in March, and one shot updated at the beginning of August.  This little girl is ready for your lap, and home.  She is fully housetrained, and well behaved.  She does whine a little in the kennel, but quiets down after just a short time.  Bombay is being fostered in Omaha.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bombay (Bay Bay), a Lincoln Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
