Sally's Story...

Sally is a fawn and white female who was born on December 20, 2005. She is a very loving girl and wants to be held or lay beside anyone who will let her. She is friendly with everyone she meets and gets along very well with other dogs. She does not like being locked in a kennel as she prefers her freedom. Salley loves being under the blankets and will nuzzle down deep in the covers at every opportunity. We are just starting to leash train as she is not familiar with them. She is very good about letting you know when she has to go outside as she will dance around. If you miss her signals then shame on you.  Sally is being fostered near Waterloo, IA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sally, a Lincoln Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
