Vinnie's Story...

Meet Vinnie, who is approximated to be a 7 year old Italian Greyhound.  We don't know his exact age because his previous owner passed away, and the family was not sure of his age, or even the name he had.  But, our estimate is based on the wear of his teeth.  He came from the same home as his buddies Gina and Sophia.

At his foster home, has been caught a few times wrestling around with one of the playful cats, rolling around and having a blast.

This guy is a slender IG, and he loves attention.  He is a crafty fellow and can slip out of the smallest of gaps in a fence, or beneath it.  He loves to explore when he gets out.  So, he needs a completely fenced yard, where he will be watched when he is let out to do his business.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vinnie, a Lincoln Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Lincoln, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Lincoln.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincoln already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincoln breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincoln paves the way for another one to be saved.
