Ginger's Story...
Ginger is a beautiful hound dog, probably a Redbone Coonhound mix. She likes to be with people and she is friendly. She just moved into a foster home and she is being crate trained and house trained. Ginger really enjoys food and she’d rather be in her soft dog bed than spend much time outside. When outside, she needs to be in a secure fenced in yard or on a leash because she will follow her nose. She is full grown at 4 years old (date of birth 2/15/12) and 45 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. Ginger is searching for her forever person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a McCormick Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
