Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Diva. I am a female schnauzer and thought to be about 7 years of age. I have been at a boarding kennel for the last couple of months and have been relinquished to Valley Dogs Rescue for re-homing. Not too much is known about me since I have been in boarding and not in a foster home until a month ago. The volunteers who played with me said I was a Diva...that’s how I got my name! I am friendly and playful and like other dogs, but I just like all the attention on me.
I walk on a leash well, but am so curious about the world that I get a little distracted. I need more practice taking daily walks. I am a little lady, but I would love a home with space for me to run and play. I love to explore in the yard and sun myself on the patio. While I do enjoy lounging on a lap, my human needs to be committed to walking me and making sure I get plenty of exercise to keep me healthy and my energy in check. I also like to be in the middle of everything so I am best suited for a family who would want me included on just about everything. Also, I have been with other dogs as long as I can remember, so a home with another dog would be just wonderful.
Wouldn’t you like to meet me and see how cute I am?? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email adopt@valleydogs.org. Adoption form can be found on valleydogs.org
