My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

On January 25th, Iris and Diesel were spotted playing on the school grounds with students. They were very friendly, playful, and loved to be petted. School security were going to drive them off the school grounds. The dogs looked very well maintained: clean, well fed, and overall healthy. A few adults - parents and teachers who were around – stated that because the dogs are in such a good condition, they must be really someone’s who is looking for them. I could not stand the thought of what might happen to them on the streets, so I decided to take the dogs home and try looking for their owners.

I did not succeed in my search. But during this time I learned how enriching a human life is with dog’s unconditional love. These dogs have been nothing but pleasure to have at home. There were no incidents indoors or outdoors, except one shoe (my fault!). For the bathroom, they chose the farthest corner in the backyard, all the rest of it is for playing. They are very sociable and love to learn new tricks (any treat will do for a reward!). I have taken them to the park to walk around the lake and hiking on the mountain – they behave very well: friendly to people and other dogs hiking. Surprisingly, not a once did I have to pick up after them on our walks. One word comes to my mind to describe them – mellow: they love to be petted and they will lick your hands to thank you. They barked at some people’s voices outside the door on a few occasions (good protectors!). Overall, they are very well behaved and have a clear understanding of what is appropriate and what is not.

So Iris and Diesel are looking for new owners now. They are lucky to be still alive and you will be lucky to have their companionship for many years to come.
