Silkie's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Silkie's Story...
Hi. My name is Silkie because my fur is soft and silky. I came into TCRAS as a stray. I don't mind telling you I was SCARED, but the nice people at TCRAS have worked with me so now I am doing much better and am ready to find my forever home. I get along with other cats, but can still be a little shy with people when we first meet, but I am worth the time. I will be waiting for you to come in.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Silkie, a Divide Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Divide, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Divide.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Divide already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Divide breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Divide paves the way for another one to be saved.
