Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is listed as a Courtesy Posting; she is not living with Penny Angels Beagle Rescue. If you are interested in adopting Penny, please contact Maureen: rene717@comcast.net or 609-513-8661.
This is what Maureen & Penny shared with us: “Hi, my name is Penny. My best friend and owner recently passed away; she took good care of me and in return, I shared my love and companionship with her. My world is different now and everything around me is changing. With those changes, I need to find another place to live. I am approximately 9 years old and weigh about 25 lbs. I am a Pocket Beagle, so I'm a little smaller than a standard Beagle. I am in good health and up-to-date on all my shots. In fact, I just had my yearly physical in January and got my teeth cleaned.
“I get along okay with other dogs, but I'm used to being the only dog in the house. I am house trained, but occasionally have an accident in the house. I love going for walks and enjoy the company of people, though I haven't been around young children or cats. I have a crate, but I don’t sleep in it... I just keep my toys in it. I am a curious girl and will get in the trash if you let me; there are just too many good scents in there for me to ignore! Keep the good scents out of my reach and I will do just fine. A fenced-in yard would make me happy; we could spend time outside and enjoy the beauty of the sunny Spring days. I am used to someone being around the house, so whenever you are home, we could keep each other company. I don’t ask for much, but I do need to find a home with someone who wants a loyal companion AND has time to spend with me.”
Can you share your time and love with Penny? Please contact Maureen for more information on how you can add Penny to your family: rene717@comcast.net or 609-513-8661. Thank you!
