Meet Shadow! He is an amazing cat with a strong will for survival. Shadow had a hard life outdoors, although he has now hit the jackpot! He has a few scars, and a shorter tail that tell the story of conflict and his will to find a better life. Luckily, he wandered into the yard of a kind TMHPR volunteer who, after many months, gained his trust. Then in January, Shadow realized a warm home "indoors" was better than being cold outside.
He is a beautiful, long-hair boy with a laid-back personality who now enjoys hanging out with his foster family and foster kitty siblings. As Shadow learns how to be a relaxed, happy indoor cat, he likes to mimic the behavior of his foster siblings! He is not crazy about being picked up, but once in a lap, he purrs and cuddles and doesn't want to move! Shadow is slowly learning what "play" is and would love a home where his family is patient and willing to help him discover the joy of being a spoiled, indoor kitty! Approx. birthday is 1/11/2009.
