Henry was a little lost Yorkie boy found by a caring neighbor who continues to foster him until his forever home is found. He’s 12 years old but still has lots of years to go! Sometimes Yorkies have tooth issues so Henry has had tooth surgery and now eats soft food. He’s healthy and happy and loves to be held or to walk with you on his leash. He’s a MIGHTY DOG! If you’d like to meet Henry, send an email to info@eastcan.org for an introduction.

About East C.A.N. (Community Action Network)

About Our Rescue Group...

East Nashville has always had an over abundance of animals roaming our streets. In an attempt to help the animals with as much speed and efficiency as possible a neighborhood effort was organized. Our mission is to make a positive and immediate difference for animals and people in East Nashville by facilitating neighbors helping neighbors.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have fund raisers and adoption events through out the year, typically in spring, summer and fall. Signing up on our mailing list (via our website) will get you invites to all of our events.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a required application on our website that includes personal and vet references. We do pre-adoption home visits and periodic follow up visits post adoption. There is a $120 rehoming fee for each animal if they are microchipped or $100 if they are not.
