Dezi's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dezi's Story...
Hi I'm Dezi, a young lad looking for a family to love. I like playing with balls, catnip toys, wrestling with my foster siblings but most of all snuggling in foster mom's neck getting lots of kisses. I'm an active guy so I would love to live with other cats to play with. I like the dogs in the house even sleep with them sometimes. My eyes may look a little funny but don't let that scare you away, they are just scarred and I can see just fine. You see I was really sick with an eye infection, when I first came to rescue, but they made me all better. Will you be my furever family?
If interested in adopting, Please visit www.masrescue.org, click "Adopt Here" on the menu bar. The adoption fee is $50. Please note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. Cats are NOT to be de-clawed, and must remain indoor pets only.
Remember adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your companion; cats could live to 20 years or more!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dezi, a Baltimore Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
