Freda's Story...
Look deep into these beautiful eyes and I will hypnotize you with my sweetness! I am new to Habitat 4 Paws and am eager to find my forever home. I am definitely a favorite at doggie daycare. The staff loves how excited I get when they come to play with me. I behaved perfectly at my first adoption event, too! I am friendly with everyone I meet and love other dogs. I wiggle my entire body when I'm happy and am always ready to play. I do well in my crate and walk nicely on a leash. Are you ready for a happy, wiggly and might I say very pretty puppy? Email info@habitat4paws.org and ask about Freda!

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freda, a McKinney Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
