Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome young man is Rex, a beautiful German shepherd that is a little over a year old and would just love a great home of his own. Rex came to us from our Newark facility after his owner surrendered him right before Christmas. Poor Rex was quite neglected, dirty and sickly and it took several weeks to get this sweet, puppyish boy back in shape. Finally when he got his clean bill of health, Rex got noticed right away but was returned a short time later when his new owners split up and no one had any time for him. Rex is hoping third time's a charm, and is ready to start life over with a loving family that will never let him go. Rex is such a sweetheart and just loves everyone he meets. He was trained to walk perfectly on a leash next to you but as soon as he gets the chance, he just wants to stand up and hug you because he loves people that much. Rex is young, active and playful and would love a home with a yard to romp and roam in. He is very well behaved but since he still needs training with playing without being grabby, he will need a home with no children under 10 or other dogs. Rex will be your loving and loyal companion for life if you give him the great home that he's been dreaming of. File#25871 12/20/15
