Meet Cletus! This absolutely adorable, goofy puppy is about 6 months old. He never meets a stranger and loves playing at the dog park with all of his friends. He is in a foster home with cats and tries to play with them like his other friends, which they don't appreciate, but Cletus still loves them anyway. He is a typical puppy who likes to play with his toys, but then snuggle up when he gets tired. What makes Cletus special is that he is a juvenile diabetic. Just don't tell him that because he doesn't behave any differently than his non-diabetic peers. He does require insulin shots twice a day and has a regimented feeding schedule to ensure that his blood sugar stays consistent. Please contact CPR if you are interested in learning more about Cletus' condition and are considering giving him a furever home.
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for CPR's Triple Header Event weekend! First, CPR with be with North Shore Animal League on Friday, May 6th at Petco in Southington, CT from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, May 7th CPR and North Shore will be at Branhaven Jeep Dealership in Branford, CT from 10am-2pm. Lastly, CPR will be hosting an open house at their adoption center in Southbury, CT on Sunday, May 8th from 10:30am-1:30pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from SUNDAY'S event If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has been examined by a CT vet in compliance with HB 5368. The adoption fee is $375.
