Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Max's Story...
Max is a BIG and HAPPY guy looking for a loving home. Max is an American Bulldog, about 7 years old, and tips the scale at 105 pounds of lovin’! This big hunk of love is all vetted, loves his daily walks and LOVES his peanut butter kong!
He does well without being crated and spends most of his day napping. Max is not a barker but will let you know if he feels ignored by giving you a whine!
If you want a buddy to run errands with you, MAX is your guy. He LOVES car rides. His people or person is his whole world! He wants to be with people more than anything.
Because Max doesn’t realize what a big guy he is, we think he will be best in a home with older children who can love on him and not get knocked over.
In Max’s mind he is the “Star,” the “King” and adores being the center of attention, so he will do best as an “only dog.” He stays off the furniture and likes his sturdy dog bed (Max unfortunately thinks blankets are for snacking on!)
If you are up for a big, new friend who will love you to pieces, come and meet MAX!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Minnetonka American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Minnetonka, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Minnetonka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minnetonka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minnetonka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minnetonka paves the way for another one to be saved.
