Hi! My name is Felix. I'm a big, strong boy. I was abandoned by my family and found tied up laying in a rain puddle. I was very afraid in the kennel and didn't have the best behavior. A nice lady came and rescued me and I've been trying so hard to be good but I get anxious sometimes and make mistakes. I am active, love to walk, and play in my fenced in yard. I chase cats but like other dogs (no larger male dogs for me). I'm very protective of my family. I'm good about using my crate and will go to it when told to.
My foster family says this about me---
â Felix has had time to learn to be a dog. He is crate trained, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. He loves to cuddle on the couch while chewing on his rope toys.
Felix is VERY protective and needs an experienced handler at this time. We are working on his protectiveness and anxiety in large crowds. He is on a low dose of anti-anxiety medication and it's really helping.
Felix is friendly, affectionate, takes treats gently, and walks great on a leash. Felix has a "Huge Heart" and he always loves to cuddle. Felix has been dog tested and LOVES other dogs. He gets along with most male and female dogs. Felix would do best with older children. If you are interested in Felix please fill out an application. His adoption fee is $150.
