My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“Checkers” is a great little dog and was selected for our program because of his darling personality and the fact that he did not have any manners when we met him! He is cute as can be but his previous owners did not take the time to potty train him or give him a chance to burn off his puppy energy, thus he was turned into a local shelter. Checkers is extremely smart and it’s amazing how much he’s learned during the past few weeks! He has lots of energy and loves to play with people and other dogs. The description “tiny but mighty” says it all about this adorable little dog as he weighs only 12 pounds but gets along with dogs of all sizes and shapes. He’s also a great watch dog.
“Checkers” would make a great companion for someone who’s looking for fun-loving friend or with a family with children at least 7years-old who are looking for a play buddy.
