  • Color: Brown/Chocolate - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Chessie is a very smart, active, loving gal. She knows all her basic commands and seems to learn new things with minimal training. As a matter of fact she is currently learning how to catch a frisbee mid-air! She rides well in the car, loves to go on walks and hikes and her favorite - playing fetch. Chessie is also a love muffin! She is never far from your feet and she will happily lay next to you grinning from ear to ear if you break out the brush! And if you need a smile on your face, just say "Hi Chessie" and you will be greeted with a full body wag and wiggle and a smile which of course is guaranteed to make you return the smile!

Chessie is looking for a family to call her own. She hopes that this family will be the only that will love her for all the days of her life. She has so much love and joy to offer. If you're looking for a dog to take to soccer games, head out on those morning jogs and family hikes or trips up to the local cafe, you search is over. Chessie is your gal. Please fill out an application for this sweet gal today. She is eager to start the next chapter of her life.To learn more - www.azrescue.org

About RESCUE

About Our Rescue Group...

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 11,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
