  • Color: Brown/Chocolate - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Rio is one handsome little guy. He is a spunky, loving, silly boy. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes, enjoys his daily walks and jogs with the volunteers, rides well in the car and interacts great with all. He is a well rounded dog.

Rio likes to play with toys and of course he thoroughly enjoys laptime. It doesn't take much for him to "talk" you into petting him and rubbing his adorable spotted belly. One look into his soulful eyes and you're putty in his paws.

So if you're looking for a dog to join you on daily walks, runs around the neighborhood or hikes on the weekends, Rio is your guy. Just make sure to take him with you to the cafe afterward for some doggie treats and tons of adoration from passerby's. All that cuteness surely should be shared and Rio is happy to oblige. But don't worry. Rio has plenty of love to go around and will be snuggling with you in the car on the way home and for all the days and nights of his life.

Complete an application for his handsome, sweet boy today. He is looking forward to meeting you! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

About RESCUE

About Our Rescue Group...

RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 11,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. We are at various special events around the valley. Please see our Upcoming Events section on our website for further information. We look forward to meeting you and introducing you to some of our wonderful animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
