Hi there. My name is George. I'm around 1 year old and I weigh about 50 lbs.
I was surrendered to the pound by my owner so I am now looking for a new family.
I am very timid at first with new people. I am also very head shy and I will get a little bit snappy if you grab towards my collar too fast.
I need a kind and patient family who will show me how to love and trust.
I am a very nice boy. I do enjoy walks and I like being around people in general.
I get along well with the other dogs I have been around here at the pound and I love to play.
I like to play fetch too, though I don't always give you the ball.
My old owner said I am not really housebroken very well, so I will need an understanding and patient family willing to train me up some.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
