My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shasta, a stunning 3-year-old torti point Siamese. Although her looks are captivating, her purrsonality is her best quality. Shasta came to Seattle Humane with her nursing kittens, and she continued to care for them long after they were weaned. In fact, she's now the matriarch of a group of cats in her foster home. Shasta is  sweet and loving but also playful and entertaining. She also loves to be brushed. She's currently staying in a loving foster home where she's soaking up all of the attention. If you would like to meet Shasta, please contact our Adoption Department at adoption@seattlehumane.org. You'll be glad you did!

Shasta tested positive for Feline Leukemia. When kept indoors, an FeLV-positive cat can live a happy life like any other feline. She is currently living in a volunteer foster home and is available for adoption from foster care. Our staff would be happy to speak with you about FeLV and Shasta’s long-term needs.
