Ellie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ellie's Story...
She 1 and 1/2 years old, is potty trained and crate trained but needs work on the leash as she does pull. She is good with small dogs, but does have a bit of food aggression going on so ideally she would be an only dog or with someone who can manage separate feeding or training. She is great with children and a cuddle bug that gives the best hugs ever! Ellie had a temporary job at a local business where she had a couple acres to run at night and guard. She is very friendly and loving with her family but is a great guard dog too as she does not like strangers coming to the fence line and will bark. She weighs 77 pounds, so is enough to scare off any of the bad guys!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Springfield Great Dane/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Boxer for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Great Dane/Boxer dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Boxer breeders who help with Great Dane/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
