Archie is a very loveable boy who wants to learn and wants to please you. He will do just about anything you ask of him if you tell him he's a good boy! Archie's eyes are piercingly beautiful! He is on the small side, but once he earns your trust, he shows you his HUGE heart! Archie is very shy at first, but warms up quickly. Once he comes out of his shell, he is playful but not overly exuberant Archie loves every dog he has met so far. He is very gentle with his 11 year old furry foster sister and very playful with his 10 year old foster sister. He doesn't play rough at all, just energetic play and seems to really enjoy it!
Archie is going to make someone a great family member. He has come a long way in just a few days, but still has a ways to go before he will be completely trusting. He is very sensitive, very afraid of noises, and anything on wheels. He needs to learn to trust on leash and riding in a car. Right now he is terrified on leash but his foster mom is helping him learn that walking on a leash can be a good experience. He greats everyone with manners but he is afraid of busy or screaming children so needs to be in a home with older children.
Archie is a male Labrador mix born ~March 2014.

Our adoption fee is $250 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
