Romeo (Neutered)'s Story...
"Romeo" is a charismatic 2-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on March 23, 2016 after he was found in the Beverly Ohio area. This handsome young man has a brown tabby short smooth coat with white markings on his chest and paws, a long ringed tail, and a darling face with a pink nose and a dusting of white on his muzzle. "Romeo" was a real 'Don Juan' during his photo session and is one of the most affectionate, loving kitties you would ever hope to meet :) This big boy was a challenge to photograph since he always wanted to be close to our photographer (how can you not love a guy like that?) :) :) "Romeo" head-butts for attention and puts his huge paws on your lap when you sit down to pet him. Whomever gives this boy a home will have a loving companion and new best friend. "Romeo" weighs 8.2 lbs. He was given vaccinations and wormer on March 23, 2016. "Romeo" was neutered on March 25, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo (Neutered), a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
