Tanner (Neutered)'s Story...
"Tanner" is an adorable 6-month old male Labrador Retriever/Hound mix puppy who arrived at the HSOV on March 23, 2016 after he was found in the Beverly Ohio area. This handsome little boy has a tan short smooth coat with a large patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a sweet face with a black button nose and short floppy ears. "Tanner" is everything you envision when you hear the word 'puppy' :) He is cute as a button, affectionate, and full of playful puppy energy and foolishness. "Tanner" hasn't had much leash experience but he is a smart youngster who will quickly master that new skill. He currently weighs 29.2 lbs. "Tanner" will be available for adoption on March 26, 2016 if he is not reclaimed before that date. He was neutered on March 29, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner (Neutered), a Marietta Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
