Here's what the humans have to say about me:
At 9 years old, Sasha finds herself hiding under a desk, hoping that this will all go away. We truly wish we could make it all better for Sasha, but that will take some time. She just had her world turned upside down and our hearts break for this sweet and gentle soul. Sasha was adopted at just a year old, now 8 years later, she is looking for a new home once again. Sasha was turned in by her family because she is "skittish and fearful" and because a new grandchild came along that has allergies. We will undoubtedly be told that we should have more sympathy for the family that had to surrender their dog but in this case, all of our sympathy is for Sasha, a loving, sweet, beautiful black lab that wonders what on earth she did wrong. Sasha is in need of a new home with a family that has lots of love and patience to help mend her broken heart. She may take time to settle in and may even keep to herself at first but we have discovered that if you show Sasha some kindness, she will lean against you and never want to leave your side. She is quiet, mild-mannered and well behaved. She will need a home with no cats or young children but she seems just fine with well behaved dogs. Sasha is hoping that her special someone will come along and offer her the loving, peaceful home that she is so deserving of. File#26080 3/23/16
