Facts about Zorro

  • Breed: Chihuahua Mix
  • Color: Gray/Silver/Salt & Pepper - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Zorro's owner wound up in a nursing home. Her neighbors cared for him and made sure he wound up with a safe place to go. Zorro is a very active chihuahua who loves to sleep under the covers. He likes his routine and is slow to like strangers. He loves car rides and going new places. He also loves agility and lure coursing. He does run with a hitch in his step, but that has never slowed him down. Whoever is fortunate enough to choose to add him to their family will need to spend time letting him get to know them first before they take him home. Once he connects, he will be always with you.

About Mutley's Miracles

About Our Rescue Group...

We specialize in timid or shut down dogs that have the potiential to make good family pets. We try to teach our dogs how to get along with a wide range of people, other dogs, other animals and give them room to run and play on our farm. We like to know when a dog leaves here, it is going to a family (or individual) that will be the best match possible. And that the dog will have an important role within the family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Make an appointment to meet our dogs on our farm. Occasionally we make appearances around town.

Our Adoption Process...

To adopt a dog, we like to get to know you through email so we can make sure your family will be a good match with the dog. You then come meet the dog. We do a home visit to help you make the transition for the dog as easy as possible for you and the dog. Meanwhile the dog gets a preadoption check up. You then get to come pick up your new family member. If we feel the need, we may ask you to come a couple times to make sure the dog is comfortable with all family members before you take the dog home. You will sign a contract that says the dog comes back here if you are no longer able to keep it, It cannot go to anyone else. Our fee is a voluntary donation to our medical fund. You will also reimburse us for a year's supply of heartgard that will come with your pet.
