My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LADY is a 10 year old spayed female yellow Lab who weighs 58 pounds. She is an active pup for her age. She likes to be with you and get attention which she rewards with a wagging tail and kisses. Lady was a stray and probably didn't have the best living conditions when she had a home. She is recovering loss of hair caused not being properly taken care of (no flea-tick preventative). Lady would love a home that will give her lots of love, take her for walks and give her Peanut Butter Kong every once in a while. She is an easy dog to be with and will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. Good with other dogs. No cats information. Knows sit, come and come. Good on lead. House and Crate trained. Lady is approved for kids ages 10+.

update:: Lady is full of sass and spark, especially if foster mom isn't getting her food fast enough! She's an affectionate gal that loves attention, and follows her foster mom all over the house. Lady is continuing to get along well with the resident dogs, and tries to engage the little Scottie in play. Lady is a pretty smart gal, and a great listener and does what she's asked. This has been a huge plus in getting her used to the cats. She's no longer overly interested in them, but with the fast-moving foster kitten, she can't resist the urge to want to chase him -- But a quick reminder of "no cat" and she won't. Lady has done well left during the workday with the dog walker coming midday.
