My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It is with the most overwhelming joy and happiness that we are able to say that after an entire year of being passed over, Hannah and Harley have finally found their FUREVER home!!!!! Hannah and Harley were not only the shyest and most skittish of our rescued lumberyard kittens, they were also our sickest:( While their other litter mates were in foster homes receiving love and attention, poor Hannah and Harley spent the first several weeks at our vets office receiving the care they needed just to keep them alive. After their release, they were so scared and so far behind in their socialization that they would run from human touch:( We were so extremely grateful when one of our amazing adopters Sharon volunteered to foster them for us to help build their confidence. Sharon and her family had adopted a little kitten named Scamp from us who was completely blind so we had high hopes that this foster home would be the perfect place for them to be nurtured and receive lots of love. In just 3 weeks Sharon and her daughter Maddie had Hannah and Harley taking treats from their fingers and they were no longer hiding under the bed or in corners! They were playful and even started to lay next to them!! They made so much progress that we felt hopeful that they now could find a loving forever home of their own. But we still faced the triple whammy: they were shy compared to most kittens their age, they were black kittens which are the hardest for us to find homes for and they were completely bonded to one another so they had to be adopted together as a pair. After several unsuccessful meet n greets and a failed adoption where they were returned in just over a week, we started to lose the hope that these two sweethearts would ever find a loving home together. UNTIL,,, we received the most amazing request ever from the very family that Hannah and Harley and come to love and trust. When Sharon, Jack and Maddie asked if they could adopt them and keep them as members of their family, we literally cried tears of joy!!!! Not only could we not be any happier for Hannah and Harley but we truly think it was fate and completely meant to be:) Being with their family was the most PURRFECT home for these sweet siblings:) As Maddie worked with them so much and has come to love them so much, we are very proud to say that she is officially Hannah and Harley's new mommy!! Along with Maddie, Sharon and Jack, Hannah and Harley have three kitty siblings in Lucy, Scamp, Roo a special needs kitty with deformed front legs and also a doggy brother Bud who is a rescue greyhound and therapy dog!! Thank you so much Maddie, Sharon and Jack for giving Hannah and Harley the greatest gift of all, a loving fuerver home with you!!!

Hi everyone!! Our names are Hannah and Harley and we are super adorable black kittens approximately 10 months of age. Our rescuers found us along with 5 other kittens struggling to live in a local lumber yard. We were all emaciated, flea ridden and had horrible diahrrea due to having three different intestinal parasites. With winter fast approaching, we sadly wouldn't have survived much longer being in the condition we were in:(

We are super sweet kittens that love to play and especially love treats:) We will even take them right from your fingers! We are a little shy in the beginning but once we get to know you we love to be pet and lay next you:) We have been together since we were rescued last September and are very bonded to one another. For that reason, our rescuers are hoping to find us a home where we can stay together! We are great with other cat-friendly kitties but are unknown with dogs.

If you have room in your heart and home for two very precious furbabies, please don't hesitate to fill out an adoption application for us at www.KittyJunction.org or if you have any questions at all about us please email KittyJunction@aol.com!!
