Felicia is a 3 year old, 12 pound, beautiful Torbie.  A Torbie is a cat that is a mix between a Tabby and a Tortoiseshell.  They have all the different colors found in a Tortoiseshell and the strips of a Tabby.  Felicia has been with us for over a year – and we don't understand why – she is a great cat.  Felicia came to New Leash on Life after her adoptive family determined Felicia didn't care for small children.  She is a fabulous cat that loves getting attention, and will greet anyone that comes into our cat room with nose kisses.  She does like a calmer environment and loves to lounge around on the various cat trees and furniture in our open cat room.  She can play a little rough (but is working on learning appropriate play), so she might be best in a home with older children.  She tolerates the other cats in our open cat room and would do well with another cat that was passive and not in her face a lot.  Thanks to a sponsor, you can adopt this awesome young lady for $25.  Felicia is litter box trained, spayed, micro-chipped and current on vaccinations.  Adoption Center Policy:  All cats must be INDOOR ONLY and shall not be declawed.  (Pet ID – C14-011)

About New Leash on Life

About Our Shelter...

New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.

Our goals include the following:

To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need.

To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals.

To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation.

To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation.

To find good homes for the animals in our care.

Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding. Together, will make the difference.
