My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luisa!!!
We have this wonderful and beautiful 4 leg girl that is ready for adoption. Her name is Luisa. She is about 55 pounds now

Temperament: Catahoulas are highly intelligent and energetic. They are assertive but not aggressive by nature. Catahoulas in general are very even tempered. Catahoulas are very serious about their job if they are working dogs. They make a good family dog but will not tolerate being isolated, so interaction with the dog is a daily requirement. When a Catahoula is raised with children, the dog believes that it is his or her responsibility to look after and protect those children. Many owners will say that the Catahoula owns them and they can be insistent when it's time to eat or do other activities. Catahoulas are protective and a natural alarm dog. They will alert one to anything out of the ordinary.

Luisa has been living in a foster home with other 12 dogs; and she gets along with them.
She is not a barker; walks well on a leash; loves to go for runs and walks. Luisa is about 1 1/2 year old girl.

Luisa has a beautiful red brindle coat:) She is potty trained and crate trained.

Luisa would be a perfect family member; she is sweet, loyal and loving. Don't miss your opportunity to adopt adorable girl.

All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html
Our adoption fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the rescued pets are in our care.
