Hi, I'm Sophie! Originally from Houston, I've been a Colorado girl the past 5 months. When I was in Houston, I was living on the streets when this lady with a ginormous heart spotted me on her feeding route. I was at my lowest: under-nourished, alone and pregnant. The lady took my picture, gave me some food and said goodbye. Then she came back an hour or so later, put me in her car, and the next thing I knew I was on my way to Colorado!! My 13 babies were born the day after we arrived in Denver. I did a pretty darn good job raising them, and now I'm looking for my very own forever home! I am up to date on my vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped, heartworm negative, potty-trained, crate-trained and equipped with basic manners. My foster mom thinks I'm under 2 years old based on my sparkly clean teeth and love of all things toys. I get along well with other dogs but haven't yet been tested with cats (although my foster mom saw me checking out a cat at the vet and it didn't look like I wanted to chase it). Because of my time living on the streets, not knowing when I will have my next meal, sometimes I try to keep the good stuff like food and treats all to myself, so my perfect person/family will be patient and help me understand I don't have to guard the things I love most, which include cuddling with my foster family, playing with toys, treats and going to the dog-park, maybe in that order! :)
