My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY LISTING for FRED. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact tchpin75@yahoo.com or Jenell at ODR, Inc. 503 313 3220, jrangan@comcast.net

Meet FRED -
According to his current caregivers, this senior black and tan longhair doxie is between 13-14 years old and he came from a terrible hoarding situation. Fred has been de-wormed and is safe and warm. He is great with dogs, cats and does not bark that much. He seems to be having a bit of anxiety around some people, which may indicate pain, but this little man needs a loving environment to live out the rest of his forever. If you or someone you know would like a handsome senior doxie to love and care for, perhaps Fred could be the one.

ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.

Just a reminder that this is a COURTESY LISTING for FRED. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact tchpin75@yahoo.com or Jenell at ODR, Inc. 503 313 3220, jrangan@comcast.net
