Freddy is ready to find his forever home. He is now healthy and happy! Freddy came to us very underweight, under socialized and very fearful. His foster dad has worked to find the right diet and has given him a loving home to learn to be playful and learn to trust people.

Freddy is very smart. He can dance and can perform many commands. He would love to learn more tricks .He loves to play with his toys and is loving and affectionate once he gets to know you. He has very soft fur and the cutest little under bite. He is good with most dogs, but is frightened of cats.

Like many little dogs, he sometimes guards his food and treats so he will need to have a home with no small children. Freddy is approximately three years old and weighs about 15 lbs.

Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial medical and other costs in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we must charge an adoption fee. The adoption fee for Freddy is $200.

If you are interested in adopting Freddy, please complete our online adoption application at http://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process.html
One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.

About Grateful Dogs Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Grateful Dogs Rescue was founded in 1990; its mission is to rescue dogs not made available for adoption at San Francisco Animal Care and Control and other local shelters through no fault of their own. Rather than letting these dogs be euthanized, Grateful Dogs saves as many as possible by fostering these dogs until a loving home is found.

Grateful Dogs Rescue is always in need of new foster homes!  You can make a difference by fostering. The number of dogs we can save is dependent on having foster parents to care for them until they find their forever homes.

Our Adoption Process...

The Grateful Dogs Rescue adoption procedure is designed to find a good match between the dog and adopter. Our goal is a happy human and happy dog in a "forever home." The adoption procedure includes an application, interview, home inspection, and an adoption fee. The adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, shots and other medical care given before the dog is made available for adoption.
