Dinah is looking for her forever family! This sweet little 6lb 3-4 year old love bug was found half bald in terrible shape. After a trip to the vet it was discovered that she had an untreated thyroid condition. She's feeling great now! She has some little bald spots left, only because she was untreated for so long, but her condition is easily controlled with very inexpensive medicine(around $15 for a 90 day supply).

Dinah is the perfect snuggler! She loves people and likes to be by your side or in your lap. She gets along great with cats and male dogs of any size. She is working hard on crate and potty training and doing fantastic. Dinah is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, health tested, and microchipped.

About Second Chance Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small rescue group located in Snyder, TX. All of our pets are kept in private homes by private fosters. We attend adoption events in Lubbock, TX on a regular basis and go to Abilene, TX on occasion. We also arrange for meet and greets here in Snyder when necessary. The rescue started in September of 2012 with rescuing one dog, and we quickly expanded our program. In the first 5 months of 2013 we have rescued 220+ dogs and about 15 cats. We are always looking for new fosters, volunteers and can always use donations. For every dog we can save there are 10X more that we can't. Our primary focus is on dogs, but we do help with kittens/cats when we can.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are always available for private meetings in Snyder. We try to attend adoption events in Lubbock at the Petsmart on Slide Road at least twice a month ~ more when we have the volunteers to handle the event. We can arrange for transport to most places within 4 hours of Snyder and sometimes further. It never hurts to ask ~ we might have someone going your way.

Our Adoption Process...

All dogs and cats require an adoption application. All dogs and cats we pull from shelters are spayed/neutered before being adopted (without exception). Our adoption fee is $150 to cover basic vetting and rescue fees, unforseen vetting is absorbed by us. We try to return inquiries within 24 hours (Holidays may cause delays).
