Hank is the perfect companion for a family that loves to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. He has a beautiful personality and a sweet soul. He's a big, goofy, happy-go-lucky boy who loves to run and find a scent to trail. Hank is crate trained, he gets along with children and loves to play with other dogs. He enjoys going for a walk; he is leash trained but sometimes his nose gets the better of him and he needs a little encouragement to refocus. :) Hank likes meeting new people and loves to go for a ride in the car. He would be a great companion for an active family. He needs a home with plenty of room to run and explore; a farm or acreage would be ideal.
Hank is approximately 6 years old and weighs 65 lbs. He's neutered, his vaccinations are up to date through November 2017, and he’s taking monthly HW/Flea/Tick prevention.
His adoption fee is $100. If you'd like to meet Hank, complete an Adoption Application at www.freedomringsrescue.org/adopt
Hank’s Story ~ Hank was a stray, on his own for a while before a Good Samaritan found him. The GS reached out to us for help and Hank became a part of our crew. He was emaciated, dehydrated and in poor shape. Sadly, he tested positive for heartworms; we’ve been treating him and we're hopeful that he'll test negative at his vet appointment later this month.
