Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome three-year-old Hunter is a blue mitted purebred ragdoll. He is very sweet, very laid-back, and very affectionate. He carries his toy around with him in his mouth and cries like a mama with a baby kitten. Hunter is absolutely the sweetest cat at the rescue right now. He is 20 plus pounds of pure love and affection. He must sleep on you, he must lay with you, he must be in your face, and he must be underfoot if you're walking around the house. If you're looking for a lap cat that is really too big to be in your lap, then Hunter is the cat for you.
Hunter was relinquished by his owner due to inability to care for him properly, and he came in severely matted. He has been shaved down, but his hair will grow back. He is a bit on the pudgy side, but he is not terribly overweight. He also came in with his very own harem of three females ( Sophie, Aemelie and Gracie) but is not required to go home with any of them.
If you are interested in adopting Hunter and or one of the girls that came in with him, please contact us at merlinshoperagdollrescue@gmail.com for an application. He is in a foster home in Ennis, Texas.
Adoption Fee: $200
Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states.
Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email.
