My name is Lucy. I am 8 yrs old and weigh 20 lbs. I had one owner my whole life and never thought I would be without one. It all started a couple months ago when I was not feeling well. My owner took me for a checkup and found out that I have Cushings.

She then decided to just give me up rather than try to make me better. I was so sad as I had been her dedicated family pet for so many years.

Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati took me under their wing immediately. They got me u-t-d on all my shots, groomed and micro chipped. Most importantly, my condition is now regulated with just one pill a day.

I am in a Cincinnati foster home with three other dogs and love the big yard and all the toys they have. Car rides and leash walks are the best!
