My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Gigi and I’m looking for my forever home.

I’m a salt and pepper miniature Schnauzer.  I’m around 4-5 years old, but my foster mom’s vet thinks I could be younger because of my beautiful shiny white teeth!  I know I am at least 4 though.  My family wasn’t able to take care of me anymore so I came to stay with SRC.

I’m living in a foster home now with 2 fur brothers and 2 fur sisters.  I love to play with my buddies and I also love toys.  But my very favorite thing is to sit on the sofa and cuddle; I like to hang right next to you (or better yet get right on your lap) and get my head scratched.

I’m great with other dogs and think I’d really like to have a fur brother or sister to show me the ropes, but I’d be good as an only child too so I can have you all to myself.  I don’t think I’d be very good with little kids, I like to play a little too much, but older kids who understand doggie play times would be ok.

I had a pretty bad case of bladder stones when I came to live with my foster mom, they’re all gone now, but I do have to be on special food you get from the vet.  It is the same price as normal dog food, but it is really important I stay on it so the stones do not reoccur.

My adoption fee is only $300 and I am spayed, micro-chipped, UTD on everything and am heart worm negative.  I am being fostered by Karen in Beverly Hills, MI.  Thanks for reading my story.  xxoo Gigi.
