Karleigh is a very petite female torbie. A torbie is a brown tiger with orange highlights. She is absolutely beautiful, with the cutest little orange dot right on top of her head, which can be seem in the third picture. Karleigh was probably born mid- to late-2012, but is very small – weighing only 6 pounds.
Karleigh was either abandoned or became lost during the very cold winter of 2013-2014. She eventually found her way to the porch of a very nice family who realized that she needed help, but were unable to provide it themselves. This family contacted me and Karleigh became one of my rescue kitties. It was immediately evident that Karleigh had been someone's house cat – she was very social and friendly and she made it clear that she was very glad to be back indoors. Unfortunately, she also made it very clear that she did NOT enjoy sharing her space with the many other kitties in the rescue shelter. Although Karleigh tolerates the other cats, she most definitely likes to have her space and her humans all to herself.
Karleigh is an exceptionally affectionate little girl and will make a wonderful addition to any family that does not have other cats or many just one other cat. If you'd like to meet Karleigh, please contact Eloise, 570-538-5610, or firstname.lastname@example.org. Karleigh would dearly love to have a home of her own.
