Cora's Story...
Hello! Cora here, just hanging out at my foster parents' house. This is so much better than where I was two weeks ago! You see, I've been through a lot in my short little life. I was living in the big, loud shelter and then one day, someone adopted me! I was so excited...until they changed their minds and would not go through with the adoption because I had a runny nose. Luckily, these super nice people at Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue understood that kennel cough is no biggy and gave me a second chance! Now I get to play in a big back yard with a big dog that looks just like me and an old yappy dog! Foster mom says I've been doing great with crate training and I'm almost completely house broken! I love to eat, play tug of war, cuddle, and most of all - give kisses!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cora, a Memphis Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
