Maggie's Story...
Maggie is a young adult short-haired domestic with big beautiful green eyes! We saved this young mother from Baytown Animal Control just a few weeks before she gave birth to 4 beautiful baby kittens: Gigi, Madonna, Gucci, and Fifi, all of which have been adopted into loving homes! As soon as you enter the door, Maggie is the cat to run up and greet you with a little leg rub and purrrr! Maggie would make a great pet for someone looking for a reliable barn cat! We don't know Maggie's past, but we do know that she prefers to be outdoors! If you have a barn or workshop that you'd like to add some life to, she's the feline for you! She will definitely make a great companion for someone that is looking for a fun-loving feline! Maggie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. She is also current on flea and heartworm preventative. If you are interested in adopting Maggie, please fill out our online adoption application!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Baytown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Baytown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Baytown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baytown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baytown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baytown paves the way for another one to be saved.
