Deuce's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Deuce's Story...
We are not sure exactly what breed Deuce is but he certainly looks and acts like an australian shepherd - border collie mix! This sweet boy was pretty nervous when he came into foster care but is starting to open up. While he takes awhile to warm up to men, he was friendly and sweet with his foster mom immediately. Deuce has a lot of energy and would do best in a home where he could get daily activity and not be left alone all day. More to come on this cute guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Deuce, a Madison Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Madison, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
