Tashi's Story...
PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION.

Tashi was surrendered to Lovebugs Rescue by her former owners who became overwhelmed when they added kids into the family dynamic. Unfortunately, we see this quite often in rescue, and the dog is the one that suffers. Tashi is now in a foster home, learning about her new surroundings. She is a 7 lb 5 1/2 year Shih Tzu who has eyelashes for days. Tashi is a bit shy around new dogs, but we are guessing that will change once she feels more comfortable. Tashi appears to be house trained, and walks well on leash.

Tasha's adoption fee is $350 which includes her spay, registered microchip, vaccines up to date and registered microchip. Complete our adoption application at www.lovebugsrescue.org if you'd like to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tashi, a Irvine Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
