My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

An adoption application on KENDALL can be found at the following link: http://wp.me/P73YMd-1h
Please email the completed application to weatherley.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application AND do NOT also contact the shelter. You will be contacting both the adoption coordinator and the marketing director, who do not see each other's emails. This causes confusion.

KENDALL is the perfect family dog! Her temperament is as beautiful as her appearance. She loves people and pooches. She lives in a foster home with a cairn terrier, and they are great buddies. She also is fantastic at the dog park, easily getting along with dogs of all ages and sizes. KENDALL rides nicely in the car and is well behaved in her crate while her foster parents are at work. She is also good with kitty cats. KENDALL is a year old and around 50 lbs. She is an equal mix of cuddle and play. She is sweet, gentle, and quiet. Her forever family is going to be blessed to have this girl!

KENDALL is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
