My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Male brown tabby
*Neutered, UTD on vaccinations, dewormer, and flea treatment
-This adorable round little boy ended up being brought into a local shelter as a "feral" stray. On their intake exam, he came up very faintly positive for FIV which most shelters would have euthanized over. But they couldn't do it because he was clearly not feral, and was already neutered, clean, and in great shape so they think at one point he had been someone's pet. Sadly he was not microchipped so his owner could not be traced :( Luckily they called us to come take him. Micah, sadly, we think has had a hard time of it emotionally. He is very shut down, depressed, and sad. We really think he is missing someone. He allows us to pet him and handle him with no problem and he's just now starting to enjoy it. He loves getting his chin scratched! He's such a beautiful boy and we just know with work he will blossom into a purring, sweet boy. He just needs to find a special forever family again. Because of his faint positive FIV status, we will test him in about a month to see if it is actually positive. Even if he is, FIV positive cats can live just fine in homes with other cats or on their own. They can live long, healthy, normal lives, and all the cats we have previously adopted out with FIV are doing amazing! This boy has no adoption fee to an approved home and we will post more information as we learn more about this beautiful boy.
