Meet Burton...what a handsome little guy! Burton is a Chihuahua mix who is a little over two years old. Burton believes this is the PERFECT time to adopt him and bring him into your loving, forever home. Burton is quite impressive...he uses a doggie door...wow! He loves to play fetch...awesome! He walks well on a leash...fantastic! And, he is used to being around other dogs (his foster siblings)...perfect! With some love, attention, and basic obedience commands, you've got a recipe for success with this little ball of love! He's ready to meet you TODAY!
Burton isn't so fond of sudden movements, and occasionally likes to sneak food from the table - but what dog doesn't like to, am I right? (Note: he's working on his manners!) POSITIVES: During the day, Burton hangs out with his homies (Maltese foster siblings) in the kitchen and uses the doggie door to go outside and do his business. He's GREAT with KIDS of ALL ages...and other animals. He's friendly, easy-going and ready to settle down with his new family!
Burton knows how to SIT, and STAY and USE THE DOGGIE DOOR! Yowza...we're impressed already! Burton can be described as affectionate, silly (who doesn't love a silly dog?), good-natured (of course!), and sweet and submissive. Sounds like this little dude is the whole package! If you're looking to add an awesome little family member to your existing nest, please consider Burton. He's a snuggle bug, plays well with his three-year old human companion, and LOVES playing in the backyard. Fetch is his favorite game to play.
*For Burton's new parents: he has been eating Natural Balance dog food twice a day. If you decide to switch foods, it's always best to feed a high quality dog food. Just mix in a little of the new food with his existing food until he gets used to it - won't take long! And, we don't want to upset his little tummy.
This sweet baby deserves a second and third look. We're confident he will make a loving addition to your home and bring you years of happiness, smiles, and beautiful memories.
