I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Alfred's Story...
Alfred is a 12 yr old senior that was found as a stray and taken to the Pomona Shelter. This little nugget is full of love and ready to find a forever home to spend the rest of his golden days. His blood panel is excellent and he recently had a dental as well. He is starting to have problems holding his pee and most likely will need a diaper just to keep everything under control. He loves to cuddle and lounge around

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alfred, a Rancho Santa Fe Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Rancho Santa Fe, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Rancho Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rancho Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rancho Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rancho Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
