Lola's Story...
Although we make the best guess on the breed and size of our dogs, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the dog. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED! If an animal is still posted for adoption, he/she is still available. If you see this this post, the dog is available for adoption so there is no need to email us for availability.

Lola is a super sweet puppy born around 1-20-2016. Lola is a very loving, good natured puppy who will give you years of love and kisses. She's great with other dogs, men, women, people, children. No guarding issues that we have seen. She really enjoys being around people, and will need a home where someone is home more during the day given she is a puppy and will need training. Everyone who meets this girl falls in love with her. We don't know about kitties as the foster doesn't have any, but given Lola's young age, if your cat is dog friendly, Lola should adapt.

She is being fostered in a home in Aurora, IL, which is where you would go to meet her after an adoption application has been submitted and approved. Lola was found as a tray in TN where a fellow rescuer scooped her up so she wouldn't end up at the shelter then sent her to us to find hr a loving home.

At this time we can only do adoptions within a 1 hour drive from one of our vets in Joliet, Naperville, or Yorkville.

If you would like to meet Lola, please fill out the on-line adoption application at www.angelsonwheels.org and the foster will be in touch within 7 days once the application is processed and if approved! Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s). It's advised to submit an application immediately if your interested in meeting this pet. Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response, which can take several days, we may get applications.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls.

The adoption fee is $300 and includes the spay which we will pay for when she is old enough if done by one of our participating vets. You will receive a free spay coupon with our vets listed. A $100.00 fully refundable deposit will be required. We will hold that check until the spay is done. Once the spay is done your check will be voided. This is to assure the neuter is done, and we will follow up. Thank you for understanding.

The adoption fee also includes, her first puppy vaccination, given revolution for the prevention of fleas and heartworm preventative, microchip, dewormed with panacur, and your 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and any other medical needs to may have.

We must have an application, sometimes a home visit, reference checked including the vet of current and/or past cats and/or dogs if you have/had any, to approve an application. At the meet and greet, we will need to meet all members of the family including any four legged doggies in your home to assure everyone gets along. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Naperville Bearded Collie/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bearded Collie/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Bearded Collie/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bearded Collie/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Bearded Collie/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
